CASE-ing the Catty #49 - Home for Christmas

Welcome to this week's CASE-ing the Catty Blog Hop.  You may have hopped straight from Alison's blog, but if you have come directly here please make sure you check out her awesome project here.  At the end of this post you will find a link to the next blog.  If you get lost along the way there is a list of all the participants on the CTC Blog here.  If you would like to join the fun, you can add a link to your project in the comments of the CTC blog & we will add you to the blog roll.  :)

This time around we are CASE-ing designs from the fabulous Home for Christmas section of the Holiday Catty & there are so many great projects to choose from!

I have chosen the card on the left in the top section of Page 8.  I have used the layout with different stamps:-

I kept to a red white & silver/smoky slate theme with lots of metallic touches.  I added some leaves from the square pillow box die set & metallic thread to the pretty poinsettia button:-

I also cased the layout of the nativity card from page 21, adding a banner for the sentiment:-

Next blog on the hop is Jessica's.  You can see her fabulous window card by clicking on the arrow below!

Don't forget to join us each week at our new time of 7:00 pm Sunday, at CASE-ing the Catty.

Thanks for stopping by!

CASE-ing the Catty #47 - Let's Kit Together!

The new Holiday catalogue from Stampin' Up! has some fabulous kits for all your card, packaging, scrapbooking & off the page projects.  This week each member of the CASE-ing the Catty Crew are choosing a kit project that really caught their eye & CASE-ing it!  You have possibly arrived here via Julia's blog & seen her fabulous "tree" projects, but if not, you can work your way around the entire Hop by following the "next blog" link at the bottom of this post.  :)

I was inspired by the image of the wreath kit at the top of Page 6!  I liked the newsprint leaves, so used the sprig from the Bird Builder Punch to create a tiny version.  :)  I suspended it over a vellum window (Hearth & Home Thinlits Dies) with a big red bow, just like the catty image.

Here's a close up of the wreath.  The new fine tip glue pen made attaching all those little leaves easy peasy.  :)

Next stop on the hop is Liz with her gorgeous creation (simply click on the arrow!)  :)
